arts2GO - Regional Arts Victoria.

All of the arts2GO programs are available as in-school experiences, and are subsidised and endorsed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) for the purpose of expanding and enriching student outcomes across the curriculum.

Two examples of programs relevant to MLTAV members in 2010 are:

- Martial Funk by KITA Performing Arts Company, a dance and martial arts display
that mixes both ancient and modern Asian culture; and

- Decoding the Qing Dynasty by the National Gallery of Victoria, an exploration of the
costumes and context of feudal China.

Schools in difficult circumstances may be eligible for subsidies of up to 50% and ALL schools are eligible for a 15% discount (in addition to subsidy if applicable) if they book 3 or more programs before December 18.
