Good News Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and committed  German Classroom Teacher who is  passionate about teaching, wants to work as part of an energetic team and is committed to excellence in the classroom. This is currently a full-time position and can be negotiated to a part-time for the right candidate. 

About Good News Lutheran College Good News Lutheran College is situated on 20 acres in Tarneit, approximately 30 kms from the Melbourne CBD and has landscaped gardens, recreational spaces surrounding classrooms and buildings. The College also has a gymnasium, chapel, and sports ovals, along with new and modern facilities for Technologies, Science and Arts. Good News Lutheran College aims to provide an educational pathway for each student by focusing on strong Christian values. About the Role: 1.   Classroom Teacher - German The Classroom Teacher – German is ultimately responsible to the Principal of the College and will be directly responsible to the relevant Learning Area Coordinator for German Studies for day-to-day operations. The role includes both primary and secondary teaching. They are primarily responsible for the well-being of each individual student in their care and for the delivery of the Australian Curriculum through the IB framework using contemporary models of instruction. 

Selection Criteria
  • Prior experience teaching the German language in a school setting
  • Teacher’s registration to teach in Victoria
  • Qualifications supporting, and experience in, teaching the relevant subjects
  • Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College
  • Have excellent relationship and communication skills
