The Modern Language Teachers' Association of Victoria, Inc. (MLTAV) 2019 Annual Conference 'Languages 2019: Reality, Relevance, Rethinking' is scheduled for Friday 17 May 2019. The Conference will be held at The Catholic Leadership Centre, 576 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne VIC 3065.
Conference Morning Keynote: Professor Rachel Nordlinger FAHA, Director, Research Unit for Indigenous Language, ARC Centre of Excellence for the Dynamics of Language, School of Languages and Linguistics, University of Melbourne - speaking on: 'The genius of Australian Indigenous languages, and why they are important for all of us'.

The MLTAV Annual Conference offers a unique setting in which Victorian Languages teachers are encouraged to engage with, and learn from, colleagues from within your Language-specific network as well as teachers of other Languages. Learnings from Conference sessions are generalised, enabling adaptation for use in your own classroom context.

Important Note: Government school teachers are entitled to a $30 registration fee reduction funded by the Victorian Department of Education and Training. This fee reduction is NOT valid if you already select a concession rate about (student/unemployed) or if you are registering as a preseter.
